I have used #Leech a lot myself to help fill some boards of people I know, and doing so for every forum brand supported. I can honestly say that I never had an issue where i got subscribed to posted topics. If it is the case with you you have to either disable this auto-subscribe thing in your profile options somewhere or in the worst case this setting is 'forced' on the forum members by the staff. In that case nothing can be done about that (and if this is the case just flag such mails as spam and problem solved).

Because the program is beta and beta == not completed. And to be honest with you I'm having serious doubts about releasing the source to everyone. I've had people trying (and some succeeded) to sell MY work, hell I've even seen people building a GUI that looks the same and calling it 'SharpLeech BETA 3'. I mean... Wtf is the world coming to?

hmm well my opinion is don't release the source, keep it for your self because at the end of the day that code will be in greedy peoples hands. which make copies that will have to be bought. and i don't want that to happen to you:( bcuz u worked so hard no it. i reckon u should have a thread about "not releasing the source" and see how people feel about it and if they don't like it who gives a fuck. those ones are the ones who want it to sell it and scam people. but its your program your call.. do u want people to make rip off copies and sell them under there name which they had nothing to do with it or u want people to have the program and cant scam/selling the program? i know which one i would choose

Yes I agree with you and I bet $500 if I were to just make the source public someone would upload an identical version with a backdoor (so they can steal users login info etc) in it within a week. On the other hand I know there are some - honest - people out there that are waiting for the source. If I give it to them then again there are big chances of it being leaked out. I don't know about the whole thing. On the one hand I wouldn't mind handing out the source, on the other hand I'd rather not for the previously mentioned issues.

Doing C# for a few years (havent made anything as great as sharp leech).

I am into more web based languages like php, mysql, ect.
